Renowned Pashto writer, poet Zaitoon Bano passes away

Presidential award Winning Urdu and Pashto poet and writer , Zaitoon Bano passed away today at the age of 82 after facing serious illness in last few months.
Her literary, poet and writer journey was more than 62 years . Her pen name was "Moor Bibi". She was also known as Khatoon-e-Awal (First Lady) of Pashto Fiction . Honourary title was awarded to her for her efforts , dedication and fight for the rights of common Pashtun Women.
Her literary journey was started, when she was in ninth grade in 1958 with HINDARA . HINDARA (means Mirror) was her first short story in 1958.
She wrote different books (Poetry , literature) and short stories in Pashto and Urdu Language.
