Mazhar Iqbal Mazhar is a London-based writer and author. His book titled “Bahawalpur main ajnabi” (Urdu) was published in December 2021. The book is a reflective account of the author’s short stay in Bahawalpur. This is a blend of a travelogue-type portrayal of short trips to the inner city of Bahawalpur that is appended with two short stories. Such a literary experiment could be termed an interpolation of fiction into a travel story. Bahawalpur main Ajnabi -a sort of nondescript genre- is the first published work of the author.
