Volunteer with Press for Peace

For over 13 years, the Press for Peace has been supporting activities of social, environmental and economic importance in its focus areas. We have now established a network of volunteers and activists in those areas where they are involved in real life situations to advance our shared objectives. Currently we are unable to offer paid employment opportunities; however; working as a volunteer with us has always been rewarding for those who supported our work in the past.

What do our volunteers do?

Press For Peace (PFP) is a registered charity working to support various activities including helping disadvantaged people in Azad Kashmir (Pakistan administrated Kashmir) region. We could not do our work without the wonderful volunteers' support who have given their time over the years! Volunteers work in our Head Office and are generally able to offer a shorter amount of time than interns.
Volunteers can get involved with the organization in any capacity.
Volunteers can enter into short-term agreements with the organization to assist staff or utilize their spare hours over a longer period of time.

Teach in our School

The PFP opened the first ever school on self-help and emergency basis after the massive earthquake in 2005. Volunteers are always welcome to participate in educational activities in our schools. The school is housed in a three-room sheltered building which is not enough to cater the needs. We aim to raise much-needed funds to cater educational needs of these children.
